Where To Find Your Next Client

DeskYou know what I’m really enjoying these days? Markets. The markets here in Sydney are really high end, quality. And you know what I’ve noticed as a wonderful positive change in how earning more has affected my everyday life? I’m able to buy gifts for friends and family – just because. And I don’t mean the cheapest or next best gift. I mean the ‘perfect’ gift without constantly being held back by the price tag or justifying the purchase to myself.

It feels really good.

When coaches need to make money fast, this is what they do…

So what d’you do when you’re in that rut? You don’t have consistent months yet, one is good, the next you earn nothing at all, or perhaps you really need some extra income this month to be able to afford a lovely birthday gift for a friend or a flight to Bali.

Here are TWO places where you’ll find your next client:

  1. Reach out to your nearest and dearest with a clear call to action that you have availability right now: past clients, current clients (to renew/upsell), past leads who were interested but hadn’t booked in, friends who might know someone interested. All this takes is literally a really short, simple email, a couple of lines. One of my favourites is:
“Hi NAME, are you still looking for a way to GOAL? If so, I have a ANSWER TO THEIR PROBLEM (program, other resource)”. For example.
  2. Do a Facebook post. Good old Facebook. Post a long-ish post with a little story-based background to it and a strong call to action at the end to get in touch with you. And a nice, relevant eye catching image. There’s a catch. You have to post it more than once. In more than one group. You can do it.

Did you notice that in both cases you need a strong call to action? Always. Get comfortable asking for the business. Having a great product is no good to anyone unless you put it out there and make it clear that you are open for business. Make it easy for your ideal clients to work with you and solve their problem.

Do that and your next client could, quite literally, be minutes away from signing up.

Bonus manifest-a-client tip:

Visualise. Use mantras. Journal. Clearly state what it is you desire and what for. ‘Some clients’ isn’t good enough. How many, 1? 2? 10? Does it matter who they are? Yes, it does.

“By DATE it feels so amazing to be working with X number of new ideal clients”

Why?

Be clear on the ‘why’ and the ‘what for’.

Seriously, do the inner work too. This stuff makes a difference. Heart centred, lifestyle led businesses are not all about numbers and working to a formula. You have got to feel it.

How else, where else to find your next client? Do tell…
