More than just a Raw Strawberry Jam

Raw Strawberry Jam over mixed fruit salad
Mmmm love the taste and smell of fresh picked organic strawberries…Our local health food shop is going to have them every day for as long as they last throughout the summer so we’re on a mission to find as many different ways of preparing them as possible. Of course, eating strawberries just as they are is super tasty, but we also love to make Raw Strawberry Jam out of them. The taste sensation you get from this is nature at it’s best with no added sugar or preservatives and if you get the first strawberries of the season they simply explode with taste. Now THIS is what I call jam! What’s more, this jam is not just a jam…freeze it and TADA! – you have Raw Strawberry Sorbet. Blend it for a bit longer and you can use it as a Raw Strawberry Coulis over your favourite dessert. Three recipes in one = winner! This is a super easy recipe to do with kids.
Raw Strawberry Jam
Preparation Time 10 minutes
Total Time 10 minutes
Ingredients
- Punnet Strawberries
- 2 Kiwis (optional)
- 1 tsp Vanilla Powder
Cooking instructions
- Add the lot into a blender and blend! That's all there is to it!
- You could also add Agar Agar or Arrowroot to make the jam more jelly-like, but we haven't tried it as we quite like it just like this and don't miss the jelly texture.
- For ice-cream just place it in the freezer.
