Is Living a Dream Life Too Good To Be True? (video)

“This really is a second women’s revolution – this time we’re not just fighting for a space in the world, we’re fighting to change it.”  – Arianna Huffington

Women these days have an amazing opportunity to change the way that business is done and in so doing change the shape of the world we live in. The increase in numbers of female entrepreneurs working from home who are also carving out time in their week to spend more time with their children means that many of us are very much internet based – this is where a lot of the networking, promotion and even support takes place.
And working from home means more time for Facebook (we all know that’s true).
Research shows that over a third of the people questioned reported having negative feelings when logging onto and off Facebook. These negative emotions were specifically linked to jealousy, envy, loneliness, frustration, anger.

From a mothering perspective you may feel judged, feel guilty, feel like you *should* be doing even more to measure up to whoever’s ‘front of house’ standards you’re comparing yourself to.

As an entrepreneur you may feel like a failure, like it’s only for others, that you have to struggle on and on and on to make this happen for you. You feel like a fraud.

In today’s video I speak about what it really means to have a dream life and what this really looks like…for you.

And because we’re all curious and once one woman flashes her ‘big girl pants’ well, we want more! So tell us, what does your dream life look like to you?
