The one biggest mistake that I see struggling coaches and consultants make, even if you’re already earning around $5,000 in your business per month, your heading towards 6-figures, but you still feel that it’s a fluke. You don’t know how you’re getting those clients month on month, you’re just kind of constantly chasing your tail and feel lucky that you’ve actually booked some clients on that month.

The one thing that you’re missing is the strategy.

Now you’re obviously doing something right because you’re getting the clients, so your message must be clear to a certain extent. But what you need is to have the strategy in place so that you can get to a place in your business where you have that consistency coming in, and believe it or not, you may not think this right now, but there actually comes a point in your business where you release that monthly fear or anxiety about, “will I actually make money this month?” because you know that you will make money that month. You know that you will get clients, or you know exactly what you need to do: proven steps that you’ve taken before that you know will bring you your next client. So you really need a strategy to get in front of the right people, to be sharing the right message, consistently, so that you attract your ideal clients to you.

And this of course is important as well, to build up that known like and trust factor that you’re constantly getting in front of your ideal clients. And it gives you such a huge amount of confidence: imagine knowing that you have a strategy or a system in place, in terms of marketing, that will bring you your clients. Imagine the amount of stress and anxiety that you can just release from doing that.

That will really get you out of that cycle of constantly creating, of constantly launching, of constantly thinking new things to put something new out there, because that is tiring. And really, this is the crux of the freedom-based business. When you’re constantly in that cycle of creating new stuff and launching and getting things out there, it is just really tiring, it leads to burnout, and this is not what you want to free up your time. Freedom-based lifestyle business is all about simplicity and knowing that you have the structures in place that will bring in a consistent income for you so that you can really get out there and be enjoying your life.

And you know what, this doesn’t need to be super technical. You don’t have to invest in a whole load of big systems to do your marketing on autopilot. Yes, you need simple systems in place so that you have automation, again so you free up your time. But really, what you need is to know exactly what your marketing strategy looks like so that you consistently reach your ideal clients, know how to bring them in, communicate with them.
