3 ways to grow your newsletter list, quickly (video)

The online market space is changing so rapidly these days, and there are thousands of new coaches and consultants that come onto the market every year. I think it is the first or the second fastest growing industry.

So what this means is that growing your Facebook following or your social media following is one thing, but what you want is you want to get people onto your newsletter because this is where they’ve actually put their hand up and said, I am interested to hear what you do, about your services, and what you’re selling, basically. And what this also means is that you can sell to your list rather than on social media which means that you don’t appear to be selling constantly in public which is a much nicer feeling when you actually get to that stage when you’re bringing people from social media onto your newsletter list.

This is Caroline Cain, and in today’s video I’m going to share with you three ways in which you can grow your newsletter list now that you understand the why behind it, the importance behind it.

1. Host a series of interviews / telesummit

So one way is to host a series of interviews, or a telesummit. The great things with this is that it allows you to connect with thought leaders, with experts in your field, and also part of the agreement when you do this is to ask them to email out to their community, to email the link to the interview, with their newsletter list. So of course you’re then being exposed to their list, which is bigger than yours. So find someone who has a bigger list than you and also who shares the same type of client base as you do.

2. Write an ebook (then give it away)

Another great way to grow your list, which is really popular at the moment, is to write an eBook and give it away for a certain period of days or a week for free. This is a great way because people love free things, especially eBooks, and this is the kind of giveaway as well that will get shared more easily. So make sure people know it’s for a limited period only, a few days, a week that you’re giving this away for free.

3. Create useful opt-ins

And another way to grow your list is to create a new checklist or guidebook with some value packed information that your community or your ideal clients who are not yet part of your community can download and apply right away. So basically something that is really, really useful for them now, that they can go and apply and see instant results with.
